Scholarships
We currently have 4 scholarships:
1. PACC Clifton High School Scholarship
If you are a Clifton High School student and are active at PACC, make sure to talk to your guidance counselor about this scholarship.
2. Ayman Hamdeh Scholarship

In October 2015, PACC launched their first ever scholarship in honor of Ayman Hamdeh’s memory. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and dear friend to many, passed away at the age of 32 on October 6, 2015. He left behind a wife and three children that were 11, 9, & 5 years old at the time. Ayman was one of the first supporters of the Palestinian American Community Center. He would always sign his children up for our programs and he would be the first to attend our many PACC events. To date we have had 5 recipients.
Requirements:
1. Must be enrolled in a higher education University or College
2. Cumulative GPA must be over 3.2
3. Must provide a copy of unofficial transcript
4. Must be involved in some sort of community service
5. Must be giving back to the local Palestinian American community through the provision of social, cultural,
educational, athletic and recreational activities.
6. Per request of the Hamdeh Family, the recipient of the scholarship can not be a member of the Hamdeh family.

3. Dr. Sufian Mahmoud and Dr. Hala Elsamna Scholarship
Dr. Sufian Mahmoud and Dr. Hala Elsamna Merit Scholarship

Drs. Sufian Mahmoud and Hala Elsamna, being recipients of numerous awards, value the importance and benefit of merit scholarships. Both dentists are 2nd generation Palestinians, Dr. Sufian from Beit Anan and Dr. Hala from Yaffa. Through their scholarship, the couple are providing Palestinian students with financial support to better the community at large. Together, both doctors have been and continue to be strong supporters of the Palestinian American Community Center.

1. Must be enrolled in a US accredited University (Bachelors or Graduate Degree)

4. Zaytoun-PACC Journalism Scholarship

In partnership with the Palestinian American Community Center located in Clifton, NJ Jenan Matari wants to provide a $1,000 scholarship to a young Palestinian student going into the field of Journalism and/or storytelling. Jenan is a 2x Award-winning Palestinian Storyteller, producer, TEDxspeaker and CEO of ZAYTOUN Publicity and wants to empower young Palestinians going into Journalism. Through her scholarship, ZAYTOUN will be providing a young Palestinian student with financial support to better the community at large.
Requirements:
1. Must be enrolled in a US accredited University (Bachelor's or Graduate Degree)

4. Must be involved with the Palestinian American community through the provision of social, cultural, educational, athletic, and recreational activities.
