PACC Program Protocol During COVID-19
Dear Parents,
First and foremost, we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. We know this pandemic has been stressful to many and we recognize that socializing and interacting with peers can be a healthy way for children to cope with stress and connect with others. We are hosting our PACC programs while following CDC guidelines to protect our participants, families, and our community.
The health and safety of our participants and staff remain our highest priority. Below, you will find a summary of the actions we are taking to help ensure we are lowering COVID-19 risk as much as possible. We are:
We ask that you help us protect the health of our students this summer. Anyone who is sick or was sick with COVID-19 or recently in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days— including staff, participants, and families— will not be permitted to come to PACC. Be on the lookout for symptoms of COVID-19, which include fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, and loss of taste or smell. Call your doctor if you think you or a family member is sick.
Refund policy: If the center needs to close at any moment for any reason we will be transitioning all in person classes to online. No refunds will be issued unless the program is cancelled. If you would like to unregister for a program you will need to email [email protected]. Refunds for any reason, participants have a one-week window to request a refund. Refund amount will be based on the amount of classes left of the program.

The health and safety of our participants and staff remain our highest priority. Below, you will find a summary of the actions we are taking to help ensure we are lowering COVID-19 risk as much as possible. We are:
- Intensifying cleaning and disinfection practices within our facilities and premises by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces between each class. Cleaning and disinfecting objects if they are shared (e.g., art supplies, sports equipment, toys, and games). PACC is working with Allstar sanitizing to disinfect the entire center at least once a week.
- Everyone entering PACC will need to have their temperature taken, complete a COVID symptom questionnaire form, and sign in and out at all times to help with symptom and contact tracing daily.
- Keeping our participants in small groups of 10 and spacing them out. Seating two students per table and skipping seats, and putting tape on the floors or sidewalks and signs on the wall to indicate 6 feet.
- Limiting the number of items that are shared or touched between participants and staff, by providing individual supplies to each participant, keeping participants’ belongings separated from others and in individual areas.
- To help supplement supplies and limit sharing supplies, each participant is responsible for a supply case with a pack of crayons, markers, and other supplies specified by the teacher that are needed for their program.
- Promoting healthy hygiene practices by teaching participants the importance of washing their hands with soap and water for at least 30 seconds, monitoring participants to make sure they are washing their hands, providing participants with hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol when they don’t have easy access to soap and water, encouraging children to cover their coughs and sneezes with a tissue or to use the inside of their elbow, and posting signs about these healthy habits around PACC.
- Requiring staff and participants to wear a mask or face covering when feasible, and in times when physical distancing is difficult.
- PACC will be providing all students with masks that must be kept at PACC. We encourage all students to wear masks when they are not six feet apart from other participants.
- Drop Off - Parents will not be allowed to enter the center. Students must be dropped off at the door. Parents must not leave until a covid assessment has been completed and a green light has been given. Any student who does not pass the covid assessment will need to be sent home with the parent.
- Pickup- When a parent gets to the PACC parking lot please send a text to the appropriate group and we will bring your child to your car.
- If a child does get sick at PACC, we have identified an area where they can rest, be watched after, and safely isolate themselves from others. Any child who is sick will be sent home. We will communicate with parents or caretakers directly and, if necessary, and arrange for the child to be taken to a healthcare facility for care.
