Civic Engagement
At the Palestinian American Community Center (PACC), we are committed to ensuring that Arab and Palestinian voices are counted, heard, and represented. From Census participation to voter registration and education, we engage our community in every election—not just presidential ones—so that our concerns are taken seriously by local and national leaders. Through consistent advocacy and outreach, we build political power, hold officials accountable, and create lasting impact on the issues that matter most to our community, both here and abroad. Join us in our efforts by participating in any of the below initiatives- we have something for everyone:

2. Advocacy & Civic Engagement (ACE) InternshipPACC’s Advocacy and Civic Engagement (ACE) internship, focuses on community empowerment, civic engagement, and Palestine education for youth between the ages of 17 and 21 over an 8 month internship. Community empowerment focuses on the internal work necessary to uplift our community and unlock its greatest potential. We aim to do so through political and cultural conversations with a focus on movement building. There are many ways to advocate for our community on a local, national, and international level, whether by raising awareness about the Palestinian struggle, civic engagement, voting efforts, public education, and coalition-building with other marginalized communities. Building community impact and advocacy for Palestinians will be the main themes that guide your role and outcome in the ACE team.
