At the Palestinian American Community Center (PACC), we are committed to ensuring that Arab and Palestinian voices are counted, heard, and represented. From Census participation to voter registration and education, we engage our community in every election—not just presidential ones—so that our concerns are taken seriously by local and national leaders. Through consistent advocacy and outreach, we build political power, hold officials accountable, and create lasting impact on the issues that matter most to our community, both here and abroad. 1. Get Out the Vote (GOT) InternshipThe PACC Grassroots Organizing Team (GOT) Internship is a community-based initiative rooted in the urgent need for collective action and political empowerment. We are at a pivotal moment in American politics, where the need to rise up and unify our voices is greater than ever. As a close-knit community, we have a unique opportunity to use our strengths to reshape the local political landscape and build lasting people power.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is looking to take the first step into the professional world. This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience, build foundational skills, and contribute meaningfully to a growing team. Whether you're a recent graduate or transitioning into a career path, this position offers valuable exposure to Civic Engagement and a chance to grow in a supportive environment. The Palestinian American Community Center (PACC) is offering a paid internship focused on grassroots organizing, civic engagement, and community empowerment. Applicants must be 18 or older. We strongly encourage individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life to apply. |
2. Advocacy & Civic Engagement (ACE) InternshipPACC’s Advocacy and Civic Engagement (ACE) internship, focuses on community empowerment, civic engagement, and Palestine education for youth between the ages of 17 and 21 over an 8 month internship. Community empowerment focuses on the internal work necessary to uplift our community and unlock its greatest potential. We aim to do so through political and cultural conversations with a focus on movement building. There are many ways to advocate for our community on a local, national, and international level, whether by raising awareness about the Palestinian struggle, civic engagement, voting efforts, public education, and coalition-building with other marginalized communities. Building community impact and advocacy for Palestinians will be the main themes that guide your role and outcome in the ACE team. Our main goal is to develop critical thinking young adults that can positively contribute to their local and larger community.
