PACC’s mission is to sustain and strengthen ties to Palestinian Heritage while empowering the entire community. One way PACC has decided to do that is through a Dabka (Palestinian Folklore) class. In order for this program to run successfully we need a program manager. Your job is to provide a curriculum for the teacher assistants to follow. In addition, you job is to provide professional guidance to the teacher assistants and students. This role plays a vital part in the dabka program.

Work involves leadership skills, professionalism and dabka knowledge, as well as the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Who is this for?
Someone who has at least 2 years of experience
Fluent in both Arabic and English
College graduate highly preferred
Someone who can give a minimum 1 year commitment

Hours?
2 hours a class
1 classes a week

Responsibilities?
Designing a curriculum for the different sessions and various levels in the program.
Teaching, guiding and supervising teacher assistants and volunteers.
Using a variety of teaching methods to effectively teach students of various levels how to do dabka and how to improve thier dabka skills.
Working with the ED to ensure the success of the program
Preparing students and teachers for the recital at the end of each session
Performing bimonthly assessments of teacher assistants and their progress
Providing monthly progress reports to the students and their families.
